When La Porte-based Air Products Inc won the Industry of the Year Award, Canik Communications developed text for a special newspaper insert to tout this honor to the neighboring community. The public relations payback gave Air Products a new level of recognition with their local residents and business community.

When Rohm and Haas Texas launched a vividly designed, community-focused newsletter (at right), Canik Communications developed feature articles highlighting the company's generosity in supporting area events and donating time and money to area schools. Other articles educated readers on the company's product line, demonstrating the family-friendly use of each Rohm and Haas chemical in products making their lives easier and more productive. Mailback reply cards in each newsletter demonstrated the community enjoyed the newsletter and had a more positive impression about this giant company in their backyard.

When a Cal Ripken grant was given to create SpringSpirit Baseball in an improverished area of Houston, Canik Communications provided a one-page overview and call to action sheet for prospective donors.
